As Port Vila gears up to host the Pacific Region’s top Track and Field Athletes for a 3 day meet at the new Korman Stadium from May 9th to 11th, Digicel Vanuatu’s Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Yaser Maher handed over 600 Volunteer uniforms to the organisers of the event, Athletics Vanuatu.
On hand to receive the uniforms donated by Digicel Vanuatu was Athletics Vanuatu Chairlady Mary Kapalu.

Mrs Kapalu expressed her happiness and appreciated Digicel’s goodwill and continued support to Sports in Vanuatu as Mr Maher handed over the kits to her and her fellow organisers.

“We are so thankful to Digicel for their continued support towards us.
“This support has come in at the right time and means a huge boost for the organizing team and volunteers,” she said.
CEO Maher said, “Here at Digicel Vanuatu we are proud to support sports and the community.
“It is very important to be behind such sporting events as this is grassroots, and this is a talent discovery event that will help in the long term to develop Vanuatu’s sportsmen and women.”
